The early stages of the band formed in 2013 with Mike Lopez, Chris Scoursi, and Evan Nichols writing songs for the better part of 3 years. Though not officially released, these songs would eventually lead to the formation of M.E.N.D. with the addition of Barrett Gardner and Greg Norris in 2015. In 2016, M.E.N.D. recorded and mixed their debut EP Prisms with Cory Spots of BLUElight Audio Media.
